Whitney Hintz, BA

Whitney is a Research Coordinator in the SPIRIT Lab, primarily working with Dr. Maria Monroe-DeVita in supporting the Programs of Assertive Community Treatment (PACT).
Before joining the SPIRIT Lab, she worked as a research assistant at the Hamilton College Psychology, Evolution, and Law lab on projects ranging from morality and construal to suicide and other-directed violence. She also continues her role as a volunteer Digital Counselor for the Trevor Project, as she is dedicated to improving mental health support to LGBTQ+ youth.
She graduated from Hamilton College in 2023 with a B.A. in psychology and a minor in public policy. Whitney plans on applying to clinical psychology graduate programs with career aspirations of becoming a licensed forensic psychologist. Outside of work she loves hiking, swimming, and picnicking.
