Project ECHO Immersion Training

Dr. Sarah Kopelovich, Dr. Eric Strachan, Jeff Roskelley, and MacKenzie Hughes traveled to the ECHO Institute at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico to participate in the 3-day Project ECHO Immersion Training. Project ECHO is a service delivery and outcomes research collaboration aimed at building professional capacity to improve healthcare for underserved populations with the most challenging health problems.

At the training, the UW research team learned more about the ECHO Model and how to replicate and implement teleECHO clinics at the University of Washington. The training was led by Sanjeev Arora, MD, FACP, FACG, Director of Project ECHO and Erika Harding, MA, Director of Replication Initiatives at the ECHO Institute.
