A recent article published in APA PsycNet discusses the role of psychologists in Coordinated Specialty Care (CSC) teams for early psychosis care, and presents a suggested model for implementation. It considers current challenges for CSC teams and proposes 4 recommendations for improvement: Placing psychologists in CSC team or network-leadership roles; making psychological expertise available to CSC teams; using psychological expertise to address CSC implementation challenges; and conducting further research to prove the need for psychologists to stakeholders. This article was co-authored by SPIRIT Lab’s Dr. Sarah Kopelovich. It can be read in full HERE.
