On January 24th and 25th our team at the SPIRIT Lab brought together members of the Washington State CBTp Provider Network to address the feeling of burnout that many of us are experiencing during these unprecedented times. This didactic was developed and presented by Shannon Stewart, LMHC and informed by Dr. Maria Monroe-DeVita’s work on mental health provider burnout as well as registered psychotherapist, Elizabeth Scarlett’s work on burnout and overwhelm.
Along with this presentation, we have developed a handout with valuable resources on mental health practitioner burnout, which can be accessed by clicking HERE.
We would like to give a huge shoutout to the Northwest Mental Health Technology Transfer Center Network (MHTTC) for compiling and sharing the resources they have developed on this topic. In addition, we would like to thank the Washington State Health Care Authority for supporting this work.
